• Conducted a quantitative study based on Laslett's theory, which was the first to find factors for retiree life satisfaction and fears about growing old in Ontario, Canada
• Created a summative instrument Fears About Growing Old, deprived from Laslett's exemplifications of 14 fears about growing old, which is helpful to find senior needs
• The first author of an article "Fear as a predictor of life satisfaction in retirement in Canada" published in an academic journal Educational Gerontology in February 2014 (coauthors: Dr. Teresa Tirrito and Dr. William Barkley from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota)
